The date range for Stock Price for the study and BSE Sensex are 23-April-2015 to 22-April-2016.Analysis.Since Last few years, Real estate industry is going through slowdown. Sluggish sales, high fixed cost and halted or slow construction at existing projects are the reasons to bring their cash flows down.Slow-moving construction hampering the financial health of company by bringing cash flow down and another by increasing construction cost.
Our analysis on market beta for real estate companies is reflecting the precise picture of current scenario of the industry. We had observed that most of companies from our list has Beta>1, even Unitech and DLF has beta> 2. Which is clear reflection of how risky is for investor is to invest in these companies.
